Tender description
The FCO has a requirement for a suitably qualified provider to undertake a schedule of visits to inspect and provide advice on maintenance requirements for lifts located throughout its network of offices and properties around the world. The Authority would like to make clear that the requirement is not for a contractor to carry out engineering works. Rather, the FCO is seeking a suitably qualified individual to carry out an ongoing programme of inspections and produce reports of inspections and maintenance plans. The Authority would further like to make clear that in order to remove the possibility for any conflict of interest, the successful bidder will be prohibited from bidding for resultant contracts for engineering works recommended within its own inspection and maintenance reports.
