Tender description

The Special EU Programmes Body has awarded funding under the Public Sector Theme of the EU’s INTERREG IVA Programme, to the North West Region Cross Border Group to carry out the SPACEial North West Project. This project is part financed by the EU European Regional Development Fund through the INTERREG IVA Programme managed by the SEUPB. The SPACEial North West Project sets out to track changes in population patterns across different settlements in the North West Region Cross Border Area (NWRCBA) over the 2000-2010 periods. The project will identify, capture and map key drivers of population change in the NWRCBA whilst also enhancing the skills and capacity of key policy and decision makers in using geographical information systems to plan and deliver services within the region. One of the key objectives of the SPACEial North West project is to disseminate and display the information gathered in a system to both technical and non technical users through out the region and beyond. Donegal County Council wishes to invite companies to submit a tender for the development of a web application (map viewer), mobile application and training solution.
