Slieve an Iarainn Boardwalk Project

Tender description

Leitrim County Council requires the services of a competent experienced Design/Build Contractor/Specialist to design, supply, construct, install and commission a floating Boardwalk, approximately 500m long, looping over a blanket bog including pile foundations, bridge crossings, picnic platform, car park and associated site development works in the townland of Tulliniska, Slieve an Iarainn, Co. Leitrim. This Contract is being procured under the Public Works Contract for Civil Engineering Works designed by the Contractor in accordance with the Department of Public Expenditure and Reform. Leitrim County Council is issuing this Tender which will form part of the “The Border Uplands Project” which is a cross-border, tourism development project involving close co-operation between Leitrim County Council, Fermanagh District Council, Cavan County Council and Sligo County Council. The Lead Partner for the Project is the Irish Central Area Network (ICBAN). The Project is part-financed under the European Union’s INTERREG IVA Cross-Border Programme, which is managed by the Special EU Programmes Body (SEUPB).
