SHSCT - STH & SLH - Electrical Infrastructure works

Tender description

The SHSCT are seeking to appoint a design team to design and contract administer the replacement/ mupgrade of low voltage switch equipment, associated cabling and generator replacements. Works to include building works to form new /modify switchgear plant rooms The works will be carried out in a live, healthcare environment, and the works must be designed and phased as necessary to minimise disruption to the service. The SHSCT confirm that the following consultants will be required to form part of the design team; Lead Consultant, Electrical Consulting Engineer, Mechanical Consulting Engineer, Architect or Building Surveyor, Structural/Civil Engineer, Quantity Surveyor & CDM Coordinator/Principal Designer. Schedules of duties for these consultants will be included in the Invitation to Tender (ITT). It is anticipated the lead consultant and CDM Coordinator/Principal Designer will be an Architect or Building Surveyor
