Tender description

The Authority is seeking proposals for the setting up of an independent database that will report on sheep movements and interface with the Animal Movement Licensing System (AMLS). The main requirement for this contract will be for a service to provide electronic submissions of movement data for sheep to AMLS; noting that a significant proportion of sheep movements, approximately 75%, can be captured electronically by markets and abbatoirs. It is essential therefore that potential providers can demonstrate they are able to provide a solution in co-operation with these organisations.
