** Service Provision for Live Broadcast Vehicles - REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) ** The BBC has issued the attached Request for Information (“RFI”) in order to ascertain the market capacity and willingness to provide all or part of BBC News Group’s fleet of Live Broadcast Vehicles through operational lease or Service Contract. The BBC wants an indication of the cost, scope of service and benefits compared to its historical approach of capital purchase. The BBC is particularly interested to learn of any advantage a service contract can bring to technology innovation given the rapid change in live broadcast technology and connectivity. Please download the attached document "Live Broadcast Vehicles – Leasing RFI v1 3.docx” for further information paying particular attention to sections 4, 5 and 6.
