Northern Ireland Transport Holding Company is the public corporation responsible for delivery of integrated public transport services within Northern Ireland. Services are delivered by three principal operating subsidiaries, NI Railways, Ulsterbus and Metro. Translink is a trading name of the group. The group is one of Northern Ireland’s largest employers with approximately 4,000 employees at 80 locations province wide. 77 million passengers are carried annually. Translink wish to appoint a select list of suppliers to deliver various types of printing including digital and lithographic, using black and white and full colour printing processes. Finished specifications may include; stitched, perfect bound, seal or various matt / laminations. Typical printing requirements may include: • Timetables • Brochures • Leaflets • Corporate reports • Large format posters Full colour proofs which are mocked up into the correct pagination may be required. Print runs can vary 10 units to several hundred thousand units. Delivery timescales will vary with each requirement but finished goods are often required within 1 week of the successful supplier receiving artwork. Deliveries may be split between various Translink locations and mail houses throughout Northern Ireland. Regular account management meetings will be required on a quarterly to 6 monthly basis.
