SELECT LIST FOR DIAGNOSTIC IMAGING AND RADIOLOGY CONSTRUCTION PROJECTS

Tender description

The Projects that the specialist list of economic operators may be invited to participate in the tender competition for includes the following nature of works. Decommissioning, removal and disposal of existing diagnostic imaging / radiology equipment covering a range of modalities and the subsequent enabling construction works, including electrical and mechanical services, for the installation of new or replacement modalities in the diagnostic imaging/radiology suite. The range of modalities includes MRI, CT, Nuclear Medicine, Screening, DEXA and mammography although the list is not exhaustive. The economic operator shall note that the diagnostic imaging/radiology equipment shall in all cases be provided under a separate contract by a specialist supplier to the contracting authority. The economic operator shall be required to co-ordinate the specialist client suppliers of the project including the construction works to provide a complete working diagnostic imaging/radiology facility on completion of the project.
