S1192 (2019) - Calibration, Repair and Supply of Test Equipment

Tender description

Northern Ireland Electricity Networks Ltd (NIE Networks) operate a centralised ‘Plant Workshop (PWS). The Plant Workshop (PWS) is responsible for management of all NIE Networks calibrated equipment to ensure that they are recalibrated within the specified timeframes as per ISO/IEC 17025:2017. The Plant Workshop (PWS) manages repairs for all test equipment held by NIE Networks and in addition all new test equipment is purchased and managed through the Plant Workshop. Following completion of the procurement process, NIE Networks wishes to establish separate framework agreements for each Lot to suitably experienced contractors to provide these services across Northern Ireland. A framework agreement for each Lot will be directly awarded to the first placed tenderer submitting the Most Economically Advantageous Tender (MEAT) for the requirement. Each Framework Agreement will be established for a period of 4 years with an option (exercisable entirely at NIE Network’s Discretion), to extend for up to 4 years (8 years in total). NIE Networks have separated the requirements into three Lots as follows: Lot 1 – Calibration of Test Equipment. Lot 2 – Repair of Test Equipment. Lot 3 – Supply of Test Equipment
