S1135 (2017) - Provision of Fuel for Fleet and Bulk Fuel Storage Sevices

NIE Networks’ has a requirement for a fuel payment service (using fuel cards) for the supply of fuel for its fleet of approx. 390 commercial vehicles & specialist plant. The payment cards will enable the electronic payment for fuel. NIE Networks requires the provision of Bulk Fuel Storage Facilities with a 24 hr 7 day availability. Storage facilities are to be within a 10-15 mile radius of Belfast area. A minimum stock level of 65,000 litres of fuel equal to 10 days fuel is to be stocked at all times on a rolling basis. The Framework Agreement will be for a period of 5 years with an option, exercisable entirely at the discretion of NIE Networks and subject to the terms of the Framework Agreement, to extend by a further optional 2 year period, with a total duration of 7 years. NIE Networks estimates that the total spend under the Framework Agreement could be £10 million. However, based on current requirements, the total spend is anticipated to be between £6.17 million & £8.65 million.
