S1113 – Provision of Equipment Inspection Services

Tender description

Northern Ireland Electricity Networks (NIE Networks) wishes to establish a framework agreement with a suitably qualified and experienced “Equipment Inspection Services” provider. The framework agreement shall comprise an independent inspection service to aid NIE Networks with compliance under Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations (Northern Ireland 1999 (LOLER), the Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1999 (PUWER) and compliance with the Pressure Systems Safety Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2004 (PSSR) for some specific items of substation plant. In addition, inspections shall also ensure compliance to Control of Substances Hazardous to Health Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2003 (CSHHR), particularly for local exhaust ventilation systems.
