Tender description

NIE owns the regulated electricity transmission and distribution network in Northern Ireland through which it distributes electricity to approximately 850,000 customers. It is responsible for the planning, development, construction and maintenance of the entire network as well as the control and operation of the distribution network. NIE has approximately 1200 employees, and has an obligation and duty of care to provide occupational health services for all employees. NIE has a requirement for a suitably qualified and competent occupational health physician led service to provide a high quality occupational health service. The contract is anticipated to commence in January 2016 for a 3 year period with an option to extend this contract for up to a further two years entirely at the discretion of NIE and subject to satisfactory annual review.
