Tender description

NIE Networks seeks to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced organisation(s) on framework for the provision of waste management services. The services shall cover the collection and disposal of both hazardous (e.g. creosote poles, oily rags / oil contaminated products, fluorescent tubes, battery cells, compound boxes) and non-hazardous / controlled waste (e.g. cardboard, plastic, wood, general & office waste). The requirements of this contract include the provision, and subsequent emptying, of skips and bins in all NIE Networks offices / depots province wide as well as ad-hoc skip provision and emptying for project work. The contract shall be divided into 4 lots:. • Lot 1 – Hazardous Waste throughout all of Northern Ireland • Lot 2 – Non Hazardous Eastern Region (Belfast, Bangor & Downpatrick Districts) • Lot 3 – Non Hazardous North Region (Ballyclare, Ballymena, Coleraine & Campsie Districts) • Lot 4 – Non Hazardous South & West Region (Newry, Craigavon, Dungannon, Omagh & Enniskillen Districts) Bidders have the opportunity to bid for one or any number of lots.
