The following is provided in good faith and is intended only as a preliminary background explanation to Translink’s requirement it does not purport to be all inclusive. Translink & NITHC comprises of 160 locations and over 400 buildings. The properties range from large multi story office blocks, multi story car-parks, bus & rail stations, retail outlets, engineering workshops, bus parks and railway halts which are located all over Northern Ireland. The aim of this tender exercise is to establish Framework Arrangements whereby suitably qualified contractors will maintain the various buildings and provide a 24hr, all year round maintenance service to all its locations. The contractor must demonstrate an ability to manage repairs on this scale and have suitable experience repairing various forms of building fabric. Please note the PQQ return date and time of 1500 hours on Tuesday 20 March 2012. These Framework agreements will run for a single year with an option for three further single year extensions. If the option for extension to the contract is required by the Employer the Framework prices will be inflated as per the terms of the contract. A single contractor from the Framework agreement will be engaged to undertake service maintenance works on an annual basis. This initial work package will be for time based maintenance. The total annual expenditure for each Framework is estimated between £250k and £350k per annum The anticipated start date is Quarter 2, 2012. Dates may be subject to change. Translink reserve the right to accept part of any Tender from one or any number of Tenderers and may change the contracting strategy at any time.
