Roath Lock studios is the BBC’s new flagship drama studio facility in Cardiff Bay and is home to the internationally successful Doctor Who series, long running medical drama Casualty and the Welsh language soap Pobol Y Cwm, plus a number of other commissioned dramas such as Wizards vs Aliens and The Game. We are looking • To deliver a canteen catering service that will ensure a reliable, high quality and cost effective solution that is able to provide food and drink for up to 700 staff, crew and talent on-site as required over an initial three year period • To deliver a location catering solution that is able to provide food and drink for crew and talent in two or more separate external location shoots at any time as required over an initial three year period. The preferred approach will be to appoint one principal catering contractor responsible for all on-site catering and location catering for BBC productions based at the Roath Lock studios in Cardiff Bay.
