Road2010 Contract 2015 to 2019 Condition Surveys for London

Tender description

The Contracting Authority is setting up framework agreements for local authorities to carry out detailed road and footway condition surveys. Surveys will be undertaken by: SCRIM - Sideway-force Coefficient Routine Investigation Machine; SCANNER - Surface Condition Assessment for the National NEtwork of Roads; DVI - Detailed Visual Inspection Surveys; CVI - Coarse Visual Inspection Surveys and FNS - Footway Network Surveys. The contracting authority intends to let 6 Lots defined as follows: • Lot 1: SCRIM Survey; – Transport for London Road Network (“TLRN”), Principal Classified Network (“A-Roads”) and Non-Principal Classified Network (“BC-Roads”) {including: [for A,B&C Roads only; excluding TLRN], processing of the SCRIM data combined with accident and traffic flow data to provide a prioritised Skid Deficiency Listing of Sites for Site Investigation, and for the site investigation work itself} [SCRIM TABC] • Lot 2: SCANNER Survey – Transport for London Network (“TLRN”), Principal Classified Network, (“A-Roads”), Non-Principal Classified Networks (“BC-Roads”) [SCANNER TABC] • Lot 3: UKPMS Detailed Visual Inspection – Principal Classified Network, (“A-Roads [DVI A] • Lot 4 UKPMS Coarse Visual Inspection - Non-Principal Classified Networks (“BC-Roads”) and Unclassified Networks (“U-Roads”) [CVI BCU] • Lot 5: Footways Network Survey, (Basic or Enhanced – Option 2/3 UKPMS) - Principal Classified Network (“A-Roads”), Non-Principal Classified Networks (“BC-Roads”) and Unclassified Networks (“U-Roads”) [FNS ABCU] • Lot 6: UKPMS Detailed Visual Inspection – Non-Principal Classified (“BC-Roads”) and Unclassified Networks (“U-Roads”) [DVI BCU]
