Tender description

REQUEST FOR INFORMATION ONLY The current NIW Corporate Geographic Information System (CGIS) is made up of three components i.e. Oracle Spatial Database, CARtomap and AssetMapper, which provide data storage, GIS Viewer and GIS editing/analyses functionality respectively. The CARtomap and AssetMapper applications will soon reach the end of their development potential and current support arrangements will expire in the 2016-17 financial year. To continue to support the needs of Asset Management, Operations, Customer Services, Finance and Mobile Work Management and comply with the current ICT Strategy / NIW Policy regarding corporate systems, it is essential that NIW make provision to have the CGIS fully supported beyond 2016.
