Tender description

This is a Request for Information (RFI) concerning the provision of Access Control Management Systems for the BBC. This is an information gathering exercise only. BBC Security are currently proposing to upgrade or replace the access control software from the existing Facility Commander WnX system which is close to the end of its product life-cycle  BBC Security are also seeking to move its ID card management from a bespoke system (SQL DB) into the main access control system.  A procurement exercise would help resolve this as we would ensure we only considered options from companies who would provide at least 10-year life cycle cost data  The scope of the requirement will be across all of the BBC portfolio, c70 sites and approximately250 ACUs and 2000 readers
