Refurb to Block ME Magee campus

Tender description

The University invites applications from main building contractors for the upgrade of Block ME on the Magee Campus. Block ME is a B2 Listed Building and the works will include: roof refurbishment; damp proofing/tanking; insulation upgrade; refurbishment of external wall finish; refurbishment of existing sash windows; upgrade of existing DDA and toilet facilities; internal alterations; decoration and finishes; and upgrade of existing mechanical and electrical installations. The building will be vacated for the duration of the works, but the surrounding area will be occupied. It is anticipated that the works will commence early 2016 for a period of approximately twenty-five weeks.
