Quantity Surveyor Services Framework

Tender description

The aim of this tender exercise is to establish a Framework Contract to provide Quantity Surveyor Services. Please note the PQQ Submission return date of 1500 hours on Thursday 26 January 2012. Works disciplines may include • Building works • Mechanical & Electrical works • Civil engineering works • Landscaping • Environmental works The estimated value, excluding VAT, of the Framework Contract is to be circa £300k over the maximum 4 year contract period (circa £75k per annum). The successful Economic Operators will then be required to tender for the works via mini-competitions as per the Framework Conditions or by cost reimbursement subject to the Framework Conditions. The Framework Contract is to be in the NEC3 Framework Contract format. An NEC3 Professional Services Contract shall be used to provide the Services. Full details of the contract conditions shall be set out in the invitation to tender documents. The Framework Contract is to be for a two year duration, extendable to a maximum of four years duration subject to the satisfactory performance of the successful Economic Operators commencing Quarter 1, 2012. Translink is utilising an electronic tendering system to manage this procurement and communicate with Tenderers. Accordingly, there will be no hard copy documents issued and it is intended that all communications with Translink including the submission of PQQ and Tender responses will be conducted via www.e-sourcingni.bravosolution.co.uk. Unless stated otherwise in these Instructions or in writing from Translink, all communications including queries from Applicants and any PQQ amendments from Translink during the period of this procurement exercise shall be submitted through and published via the online messaging facility provided on the e-sourcing NI portal (see “Messages” section). The onus lies on the applicant to read and keep up to date with all the information published on eSourcing NI in relation to this requirement
