QSM PR activity for the Belgium market

AHDB France works to develop awareness of Assurance and Quality schemes such as the Quality Standard Mark (QSM) for beef and lamb and the Protected Geographical Indication (PGI) West Country (beef and lamb). To support this requires the delivery of a comprehensive marketing and communication plan. The plan should include one main event in the food service sector and a programme of activities in the retail sector. The food service event should involve key opinion formers such as chefs, food writers, journalists, meat specialists, bloggers, cash & carry, catering butchers etc. This programme should include innovative and efficient tools allowing regular contacts with the targeted audience. The objective is to develop awareness of UK beef and lamb with Belgian restaurateurs. The programme of field marketing activities should involve the main English exporters, as well as importers and suppliers serving the Belgian market including those serving the market with UK lamb operating from France The objective is to add value to QSM beef and lamb, by product differentiation at point of sale.
