Tender description

Quality Assurance & Quality Control services (QA/QC 2015-2020) for the Automatic Urban and Rural Air Quality Monitoring Network (AURN) - 21316. The Authority is looking to appoint a maximum of two (2) suppliers to provide Quality Assurance and Quality Control services (QAQC) for the Automatic Urban and Rural Air Quality Monitoring Network (AURN). The network provides national monitoring arrangements including those areas covered by the Scottish Government (SG), the Welsh Government (WG) and the Department of the Environment Northern Ireland (DoENI), collectively known as the Devolved Administrations (DAs). However, the contract is let by the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra) on behalf of Central Government and the DAs. The QAQC Contract has responsibility for all quality assurance and quality control for collection, validation and ratification of data on the networks prior to transmission to the Data Dissemination Unit (DDU).
