Psychometric Testing & Associated Services

Tender description

The supplier will be required to deliver a range of psychometric testing instruments appropriate mainly to those used within the railway industry for train driving and other safety related jobs. However, it is intended that the supplier will offer testing and interviewing services to a diverse range of positions on a business needs basis. It is anticipated that the range of services to be provided will include but will not be limited to: • Test administration • Design and delivery of assessment centres • Design and review of competency-based interview questions • Shortlisting competency-based application forms • Conduct CBI interviews in conjunction with line managers • Provide competency-based training to appropriate line managers • Provide advice and guidance on psychometric tests, e.g. appropriateness of tests, scoring mechanisms, feedback to candidates • Job analysis • Design and delivery of ad hoc interviews and/or assessment materials • Post-incident competency assessment for Rail Operations The Lead Assessor must possess as a minimum qualification BPS Test User Occupational – Ability and BPS Test User Occupational – Personality. All other assessors should be appropriately qualified and trained.
