PSNI-Sprucefield PSNI Station-Construction of a New Single Storey Building (B1)

Tender description

The Contract will involve works at Sprucefield PSNI Station, 8 Ravarnet Road, Lisburn and include: Construction of new single storey building. External walls shall be cavity blockwork construction with a rendered finish. The roof shall be constructed using pre-cast concrete slabs, bearing off masonry walls, under a pitched cut timber roof with slate finish. Protected windows and doors shall enclose the envelope. Internal partition walls will subdivide internal space. Electrical works will include new switch boards and general power circuits, new lighting, data, telephone, CCTV, intruder and access control systems Mechanical works will include new heating system and LPHW system, air conditioning & ventilation units, building energy management controls, general plumbing and new sanitary equipment throughout The building is to be located on a Brownfield site. Works will comprise new below ground drainage systems, resurfacing (bitumen & concrete), kerbing and trenching works for services ducts. The contract period will be approximately 30 weeks. Licences, Accreditations and Certifications required – Electrical Sub Contractor – to be NICEIC accredited or equivalent. Mechanical Sub Contractor – to be Gas Safe accredited or equivalent.
