PSNI - Managed Vehicle Recovery Service

Tender description

PSNI intends to appoint a Managing Agent, (Contractor) to manage a vehicle recovery service throughout all of Northern Ireland. This contract also includes the requirement for vehicles to held in storage as and when required. The Contractor will be directly responsible for the appointment and management of all Vehicle Recovery Operators (VRO)’s appointed to provide services under this scheme. The PSNI’s business relationship will be with the Contractor who will manage the vehicle recovery service provision on behalf of police. The published specification contains details of the specific requirements that are placed on the Contractor and also those that the Contractor must ensure the Vehicle Recovery Operator adhere to in the performance of the Contract.
