Tender description

The purpose of this tender is to commission the production of video content for the Honeycomb - Creative Works programme. Honeycomb - Creative Works (Honeycomb) is funded by the European Union’s INTERREG IVA Cross Border programme, managed by the Special EU Programmes Body (SEUPB). Honeycomb is a sectoral enhancement programme for the Creative Industries. The eligible regions for Honeycomb are Northern Ireland (excluding Greater Belfast), the six border counties of southern Ireland, namely Counties Louth, Monaghan, Cavan, Sligo, Leitrim and Donegal, and Western Scotland to include Lochaber, Skye and Lochalsh, Arran and Cumbrae and Argyll and Bute, Dumfries and Galloway, East Ayrshire and North Ayrshire mainland and South Ayrshire. Honeycomb is a collaboration between the Dundalk Institute of Technology, Creative Skillset and is led by the University of Ulster. The following subsectors are the target beneficiaries of the programme: • Animation • Film & broadcast • Game design and development • Interactive media to include design and app development • Music technology. Honeycomb is an innovative programme to build new skills and knowledge, and spark new connections and business opportunities between digital content makers in the three regions. The programme supports the development of new business ideas in digital content, as well as innovative approaches to bringing these ideas to life through research, networking, skills development and access to project finance.
