Provision of Security Guard Services

Tender description

Translink requires a competent contractor(s) to provide a range of day and night time uniformed security guard services across a range of NITHCo and Translink properties throughout Northern Ireland. This also includes ad-hoc event security guarding on board trains and at manned barriers for recognized special events/bank holidays and mobile guarding as required. It also includes the provision of security guard services at a number of NITHCo commercial properties (including offices and retail properties) both during normal opening hours and when the properties are closed and may include extra ad-hoc services to support out of hours opening. These services are divided into the following: Lot 1 - Customer Service Security Guarding Lot 2 – Property Security Guarding Lot 3 – Car Park Security Guarding Lot 4 – Ad-hoc Event Security Guarding and Mobile Guarding Lot 5 – NITHCo Commercial Property The initial contract will be for a period of 3 years with options to extend for a further 2 periods of 1 year each. Responses must be submitted before: 15:00 hours on Tuesday 22nd June 2010. Translink is utilising an electronic tendering system to manage this procurement and communicate with Tenderers. Accordingly, there will be no hard copy documents issued and it is intended that all communications with Translink including the submission of PQQ and Tender responses will be conducted via www.e-sourcingni.bravosolution.co.uk. Unless stated otherwise in these Instructions or in writing from Translink, all communications including queries from Applicants and any PQQ amendments from Translink during the period of this procurement exercise shall be submitted through and published via the online messaging facility provided on the e-sourcing NI portal (see “Messages” section). The onus lies on the applicant to read and keep up to date with all the information published on eSourcing NI in relation to this requirement.
