Provision of Remote Broadband Services in Northern Ireland - 2012

Tender description

The Department for Enterprise, Trade and Investment is seeking to put in place a contract with a suitable broadband service provider to provide at least three broadband Retail Service Offerings – a Consumer Service, a Small Business Service and a Small & Medium Business Service. These offerings are to be made available to all remote areas in Northern Ireland. The contracted service provider shall also be required to make available Wholesale Service Offerings to other broadband service providers provided that these offerings allow those other broadband service providers to provide services equivalent to those retail services provided by the contracted service provider itself. The prices at which Wholesale Service Offerings are made available to other service providers shall be capped.
