Tender description

Provision of Railway Signalling Implementation Services Responses must be submitted before: 15:00 hours on Thursday 16th December 2010. To assist with the delivery of the Infrastructure programme of Capital and Maintenance works projects over the next two years the Signalling Department within Northern Ireland Railways wishes to establish a list of suitably qualified Signalling Contractors who will be invited to tender for the provision of various installation and testing services. The duration of this arrangement will be two years plus two annual extension options. Services for projects within the framework may include the following; • Testing management services • Testing and Commissioning Works • Provision of testing resources to NIR • Signalling installation Works • Provision of installation resources to NIR The majority of the works will range from 10,000 GBP to 200,000 GBP. The above services shall be carried out to Network Rail and NIR standards and undertaken by competent staff / engineers that hold the appropriate IRSE licenses.
