Provision of Liabilities Claims Investigator

Requirement title Translink (Comprising of Citybus Ltd, Northern Ireland Railways Co Ltd and Ulsterbus Ltd) and including Northern Ireland Transport Holding Company (NITHC) are seeking to appoint the services of a Liability Claims Investigator who would be engaged at our request to investigate Employers and Public Liability claims throughout Northern Ireland and attend court to give a professional opinion on related topics. Translink handle all their liability claims in-house and carry an excess of £250K per claim. Anticipated Award Date - Quarter 1 2011 Duration of contract : 3 years with 2 options to extend - each option being a period of 1 year. NOTE - Suppliers must receive an overall score of 70% or over to proceed to the next stage. NOTE – Please do not submit any supplementary information / documents with your response. Such information / documentation will not be viewed as part of your submission. This is a requirement for Translink and returns for this section are due by: 15:00 UK Local Time 29th November 2010 Translink is utilising an electronic tendering system to manage this procurement and communicate with Tenderers. Accordingly, there will be no hard copy documents issued and it is intended that all communications with Translink including the submission of PQQ and Tender responses will be conducted via www.e-sourcingni.bravosolution.co.uk. Unless stated otherwise in these Instructions or in writing from Translink, all communications including queries from Applicants and any PQQ amendments from Translink during the period of this procurement exercise shall be submitted through and published via the online messaging facility provided on the e-sourcing NI portal (see “Messages” section). The onus lies on the applicant to read and keep up to date with all the information published on eSourcing NI in relation to this requirement.
