Provision of Environmental Assessment Framework

Translink wishes to establish a Framework of up to six (6) Economic Operators capable of providing Environmental Assessment Services in relation to Translink’s land and infrastructure throughout Northern Ireland. These works will invariably be located in areas associated with rail, transport, infrastructure and consequently will be in safety critical infrastructure environments. Scope Of Works Economic Operators will be required to provide: Land Quality Assessment Services Likely services will include: Utilities and Services Surveys that identify, trace and accurately demarcate all sub-surface drainage, services, supply lines, underground storage tanks, signalling infrastructure and utility features; Intrusive site investigations of soils and groundwater Land contamination risk assessments in accordance with all current best practice and regulatory requirements including: Preliminary Risk Assessments, Generic Quantitative Risk Assessments, Detailed Quantitative Risk Assessments, Options Appraisals, Remedial Strategies, Implementation Plans and, Verification Reports. Also Environmental Assessments & Surveys Likely services will include: Ecology/Wildlife Surveys Topographical Surveys Asbestos Surveys Tree Surveys Ecological Impact Assessments Environmental Impact Assessments Archaeological Surveys and Impact Assessments Transport Assessments Noise and Vibration Surveys and Impact Assessments Air Quality Impact Assessments Landscape and Visual Impact Assessments Built Heritage Impact Assessments Sunlight / Shadow Assessments Flood Risk and Drainage Assessments
