Provision of Electrical, Mechanical, General Building and Turnkey Works

1. Introduction 1.1 FCO Services (FCOS) are a Trading Fund of the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO), providing a wide range of services including the design, build, installation and management of secure facilities, secure communications, secure logistics, security vetting and expert translation. FCO Services seeks to award a Framework Agreement to suitably qualified contractors for the provision of worldwide services (only occasional work within the UK) individually or as a complete package. Works would be commissioned for discrete pieces of work as a sub-contract package to FCOS . The framework will comprise of four lots: Lot 1:Electrical Works; Lot 2:Mechanal Works; Lot 3: General Building Works; Lot 4: Turnkey Works. 1.2 The above works will be across a global network of offices and residential properties (including new builds) for the FCO overseas estate. Some works will also be for foreign governments or international organisations. 1.3 This Pre-Qualification Questionnaire (PQQ) has been issued in accordance with the OJEU Restricted Procedure under the Public Contracts Regulations 2006 as advertised in OJEU notice XXXXXXXXXXXXXX. 1.4 This PQQ sets-out the information required for FCO Services to assess the suitability of potential suppliers in terms of their financial and technical and professional capability as well as their capacity to meet our requirements for these services/ and or delivery of goods. It is a requirement that all staff working on any Works that may be awarded under this Framework agreement must be capable of obtaining individual security clearance at a minimum of SC level.
