Provision of Corporate and Cash Handling Banking Service

Tender description

Translink (Comprising of Citybus Ltd, Northern Ireland Railways Co Ltd and Ulsterbus Ltd) and including Northern Ireland Transport Holding Company (NITHC) are seeking to appoint a supplier to provide a composite Corporate and Cash Handling Service for all Translink and NITHC locations meeting all specific banking requirements at both a management and operational level. Provision of the following key financial services include current account facilities, cash management/handling for STG and Euro receipted income (standard and bespoke), electronic banking services including BACS (direct debit and direct credit processing) and Banking on Line, card services including acquiring/merchant services and business cards, Treasury deposits, foreign exchange and account management. Translink / NITHC currently have approximately 50 locations across Northern Ireland, which will require cash handling and merchant services. This requirement could increase or decrease in order to meet operational needs. Some locations will require counter banking facilities. The contract term will be for a 3 year period commencing May 2011 with two options to extend (each option a period of 2 years).
