Provision of Ambient Air Real Time Gaseous Analysers

Tender description

The Environment Agency on behalf of the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra), Affiliated Local Authorities and Devolved Administrations is seeking to procure gas analysers to measure the following gases: oxides of nitrogen (NOx), nitrogen dioxide (NO2), ozone (O3), sulphur dioxide (SO2) and carbon monoxide (CO). The gas analysers will in general be used on the UK’s largest Air Quality Monitoring Network the Automatic Urban and Rural Network (AURN) and the associated Automatic London Network (ALN) (however the Agency reserves the right to use the instruments for other Air Quality Monitoring activities). It is intended that Local Authorities Affiliated to the AURN are also able to access the call-off to reduce their own time in procuring their own instrumentation.
