Provision of Accountancy Support Services for the Northern Ireland Ombudsman

Central Procurement Directorate on behalf of its client Northern Ireland Ombudsman wishes to invite tenders for the above named contract. The Northern Ireland Ombudsman requires a service provider to provide accountancy support services. The purpose of this accountancy support is: •To prepare the Resource Accounts for the Assembly Ombudsman for Northern Ireland and the Northern Ireland Commissioner for Complaints to the highest quality, complying fully with the accounting principles and disclosure requirements of the current edition of the Government Reporting Manual (FReM), Managing Public money and all other relevant policy or guidance such as Department of Finance and Personnel (DFP) Dear Accounting Officer guidance (DAO’s) and Finance Director (FD) guidance •To provide professional accountancy advice and support to the Finance Officer (Part qualified Accountant) The contract is set to commence late October and run an initial period of 1 year with the option to extend for 2 further periods of 1 year each.
