Production of a Closure Plan at Drumlough Landfill Site, Lisburn

Tender description

Lisburn City Council wishes to appoint a consultant to develop an Initial Closure Plan for the Landfill Site in compliance with a Compliance Notice issued by NIEA. As necessary, this will detail additional/external Site Investigations, Chemical Analysis, Environmental Surveys and/or Topographic Surveys and the like necessary to better understand the Landfill; set out proposals for all necessary future after-care measures, and/or works, and/or long-term future environmental monitoring; or else will set out proposals for collecting the necessary data and preparing Risk Assessments to inform and further develop the Site Closure Plan. The Closure Plan is required to be prepared in accordance with a ‘risk-based’ approach.
