Tender description

The BBC uses map technology to provide mapping services across BBC Online. The contract with the incumbent mapping supplier is due to expire in December 2012. We are undertaking a new procurement process to find a suitable supplier for the continuation of map services on BBC Online and also potentially for broadcast media. The requirements for this exercise are based on current requirements elicited from pan-BBC stakeholders. The target audience of this technology are users of BBC online and potentially broadcast mediums who consume maps or content that resides within maps (such as the 2012 Olympics Torch Relay and Travel News).
