Tender description

Lot 1 – The playout of the BBC’s Public Service Broadcasting for Network television channels within the UK, plus an option for the playout of the BBC Nations channels and any other playout services. Lot 2 – The playout of the BBC World News channels. The total value range stated in the contract notice includes a full 10 years for the entire scope of the services (across both Lots). The BBC may award a contract for between 5-10 years for each of the Lots, with extension options up to a maximum total of 10 years. The BBC reserves the right to reduce the scope of the services as detailed within the PQQ documentation. The BBC reserves the right to award the services under two contracts or to collapse the Lots into one contract before Final ITT. Through dialogue with Bidders, the BBC will discuss the length of contract, the scope of Lot 1 and the any rational for collapsing the lots during the procurement. The BBC reserves the right to add additional channels to the scope of the services during the contract life. Bidders are invited to bid for Lot 1 or Lot 2 or to bid for both Lots 1 and 2. Each Lot will be independently evaluated.
