Peace III Termon Project – 2014 Street Works It is the intention of Donegal County Council to carry out works on two separate streets in Pettigo Village, Co. Donegal in the coming months under the Peace III Termon project. These street works are being offered for tender in two separate lots: Lot 1 - Station Street: This project involves the surfacing of Station Street with 20mm DBM basecourse material and Clause 942 material, minor kerbing, cold milling and ancillary works. Tender Details Any Contractor wishing to be considered for these works should download the documents from the procurement website www.etenders.gov.ie and submit a tender as per the Instructions to Tenderers and ancillary documents. Lot 2 - Mill Street: This project involves the surfacing of the Southern portion ofMill Street, with 20mm DBM basecourse material and Hot Rolled Asphalt material It also includes for the excavation and removal of kerbing and footpath on the South Eastern end of Mill Street, construction of new kerbing, footpath and drainage works to match the other footpaths on Mill Street.. The works will also include cold milling of the existing road surface. The works on Mill Street are approximately 160m long and the carriageway width is the range 4.5m to 7.0m wide with a footpath width varies from 0.6m to 1.5m. Tender Details Any Contractor wishing to be considered for these works should send an e-mail to Bryan Cannon, A/Senior Executive Engineer, Community Cultural & Planning, requesting that a set of tender documents be forwarded to them. This e-mail must be sent to bcannon@donegalcoco.ie by 21st March 2014 at 4:30pm. It is proposed that the documents will be available from 24th March with a tender period of 3 weeks.
