THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION ONLY The BBC first explored the digital music market in February 2005. Following the success of the pilot the full service went live in March 2010 and was further expanded in January 2011 to include a range of production music libraries. The contract is due to expire in November 2014 and as a precursor to a procurement exercise we are inviting potential bidders to provide information that will inform our thinking and give an indication of possible future outcomes. Engaging in this RFI process does not obligate you to submit a response and the BBC reserves the right not to commence with any further procurement process.
