Tender description

To improve the quality of service to ophthalmology patients at NUH we would like to provide an opportunity for patients to attend an on-site optical dispensing service. In addition we require a sight testing service open to staff, visitors and other members of the public. The service provision would be to a wide range of users including babies, infants and patients with complex prescriptions. The Eye out patients department at NUH is located at Queen’s Medical Centre Campus. Approximately 16,000 new and 47,000 follow-up patients are seen in the main eye out-patients clinics with 143,000 other patient attendances per year across in-patient and out-patient ophthalmology service. The location of this service within the main entrance to the Eye, ENT Centre provides increased footfall past the area. Nottingham University Hospitals employs approximately 10,000 members of staff
