Tender description

Phase one of the Project is for the provision of a new build enhanced local hospital on a cleared ‘Brownfield” site within the grounds of the existing Tyrone and Fermanagh Hospital, Omagh, Co Tyrone, Northern Ireland, which will remain operational during the build programme. The duration of the contract will be 27 months from the award of the contract Phases 2 and 3 of the Project are subject to a current business case, with funding yet to be confirmed. Subject to Department of Health and other statutory approvals, it is intended that these be procured on a Performance Related Partnering basis as an extension of this process. The work content of phases two and three may include new build and/or refurbishment of Mental Health facilities on the existing Tyrone and Fermanagh site, or on other WHSCT sites within the Omagh area. Some of this work is likely to be in close proximity to operational (‘live’) Healthcare sites.
