Tender description
OFMDFM are establishing the Historical Institutional Advice (HIA) inquiry and one area where the inquiry will require specialist advice is around press/media handling. We would like to seek proposals for the provision of such a service. The successful service provider must provide media specialist work relating to the Inquiry as follows: (a) Advice on and the transmission of media releases to the media and the Department. (b) Advice on and the transmission of public notices across all media outlets. (c) Development of good media relationships and the handling of media enquiries on an on-going basis, including appropriate advice. (d) Advice on public relations issues and the handling of media at external events including (when required) at the public hearings. (e) Any other public relations related issues that may arise during the course of the contract.
