Market engagement only The main output of the Uniform Service Project is to deliver a solution which provides uniform clothing (including footwear and accessories) to the Contracting Authority's primary customer, Her Majesty's Prison and Probation Service (HMPPS). The contract is anticipated to be used by other agencies of MoJ and other public sector bodies who may have variations in requirements. The service covers all Public Sector Prisons and is optional for use by Privately Managed Prisons. The current solution is delivered through a hybrid of internally delivered services and a third party contract which covers production and delivery of goods to the U.K. As part of pre-procurement activity the Authority is exploring several options for how the next generation service can be delivered which, potentially, includes a managed service model. The project is in the early stages of pre-procurement activity and is looking to engage with interested and capable suppliers to explore options for how our goods and services can best be delivered in future.
