Requirement title: Occupational Health Services 2012 - 2017 This is a requirement for Translink and returns for this section are due by: 15:00 UK Local Time Thursday 24 November 2011 Translink seeks suitably qualified, experienced and skilled medical service providers who can deliver high quality, timely and cost effective Occupational Health services for Northern Ireland Transport Holding Company and the operating companies of Translink, comprising Ulsterbus, Citybus and NI Railways. The key medical services designed to optimise costs and performance will include: 1. Pre-employment screening / medicals; 2. General or specific screening / medicals and absence reviews e.g. health surveillance; 3. Day to day medical intervention to optimise attendance at work, return to work screening and rehabilitation with due care for individual employees; 4. Liaison with other GPs, Consultants, Translink management and other professional service providers; 5. Advice and support on health promotion and wellbeing campaigns. The contract is anticipated to commence on 1 April 2012 and will run for 5 years with the option of an extension for a further 2 years, at Translink’s sole discretion.
