Non electronic pre-printed (non-personalised) Travel Passes

Tender description

Translink is the brand name for the public transport group of operating companies of Ulsterbus, Northern Ireland Railways, Citybus, and Northern Ireland Transport Holding Company wish to engage a supplier who can produce and deliver non-electronic pre-printed (non-personalised) travel passes. The travel passes should measure 86mm wide, 54mm high and have a standard depth of 1mm. The material should be 760 Micron Plastic. The travel passes will be printed with pre-designed artwork and will be produced in bulk as they are non-personalised (i.e. contain no customer details at point of production by the supplier) Applicants should note that experience within the field of pre-printed travel pass (flash passes, non-electronic) stock production is essential. For information on anticipated volume requirements see APPENDIX 1 - Translink Travel Pass Requirements – Please note that while Translink anticipate requiring these volumes and types of cards over the next 3 years we can not always guarantee these orders as they are very much reliant on customer demand. The contract will be for a period of three years with 2 options for extension – each option being a period of 1 year. The anticipated commencement date is March 2012.Translink is utilising an electronic tendering system to manage this procurement and communicate with Tenderers. Accordingly, there will be no hard copy documents issued and it is intended that all communications with Translink including the submission of PQQ and Tender responses will be conducted via www.e-sourcingni.bravosolution.co.uk.
