NITB Appointment of a PR Agency for NI & RoI

Tender description

The NITB wishes to appoint a PR agency for 2 purposes; (1) Consumer contract Firstly to devise and implement an all encompassing consumer public relations campaign within the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland to increase public awareness and positive media coverage of the destination, short breaks and day trips, NITB’s product portfolio, key events and general news and business items. The appointed agency will be expected to provide the full mix of integrated PR services including press releases, media interviews, photo calls, press launches and general media liaison as well as strategic advice. The successful agency will also work with NITB to produce and help implement a calendar of proposed all-Ireland PR activity which will span the duration of the contract. The agency will liaise closely and on a regular basis with NITB to discuss progress, ideas and associated coverage. (2) Corporate contract NITB wishes the service provider to also provide occasional support within Northern Ireland to the Corporate Communications team based in Belfast to increase public awareness and positive media coverage of tourism affairs. Assistance will be required specifically on; - Story placement - Media contacts - Evaluation of corporate coverage in NI The objective is to maintain and build NITB’s profile by supplying articles and opinion pieces, which will be generated by the Corporate Communications team, for newspapers and magazines promoting the work and achievements of NITB and the tourism industry, e.g signature projects, Tourism Development Scheme, Northern Ireland Tourism Awards.
