NISRA - The Development and Supply of a Statistics Website The Northern Ireland Statistics and Research Agency (NISRA) is an agency of the Department of Finance and Personnel and is the principal source of official statistics and social research on Northern Ireland’s population and socio-economic conditions. NISRA increasingly disseminates statistics through the web, mainly via the NISRA website, departmental websites and the NINIS website (Northern Ireland Neighbourhood Information Service). The NINIS website is the focus of this tender requirement. The NINIS website (available at www.ninis.nisra.gov.uk) is the primary dissemination vehicle for small area or ‘neighbourhood’ statistics and has been online since 2003. The overarching aims of the project are to create a secure website; • With an up to date look, and easy site navigation • With improved accessibility and greater flexibility in interrogation of statistics • With improved presentation of statistics • With the ability to monitor web usage and user opinion • That can be updated by the NINIS team with new data after the completion of contract period
