NIO Marquee Service Provision

Tender description

The Northern Ireland Office (NIO) seeks to appoint a service provider to provide a high quality Marquee service for events at Hillsborough Castle, Stormont House and any other location within Northern Ireland subsequently specified by the NIO. The NIO provides hospitality and facilities to a wide range of clients including other government departments and marquee requirements will vary. The service provider will be expected to supply and erect various Marquees as directed by the NIO for various events and functions, sometimes at short notice. The nature of each individual event will dictate marquee specifications required from the service provider at any location as specified by the NIO, usually, with a minimum of 48 hours notice. In previous years some of these events have ranged from catering for 300 – 400 people, up to approximately 3000 people, attending each event. Due to the nature of these events it is difficult to predict the exact number required throughout the life of the contract. However, the main event each year is the Garden Party held in early June, which accommodates approximately 3000 people.
