The Northern Ireland Housing Executive (the Housing Executive) is a non-departmental public body established by the Housing Executive Act 1971, and is Northern Ireland’s single comprehensive regional housing authority. Further details are available on our website www.nihe.gov.uk The Housing Executive’s Direct labour organisation (DLO) is an internal Department which provides a building and grounds maintenance and specialist works service. The grounds maintenance service includes, grass cutting, litter lifting, tree and shrub planting and tree surgery. The DLO provides a 24 hour emergency response service across Northern Ireland and operates from two main depots in Belfast, and Coleraine with sub depots in Armagh, Rathcoole, Antrim, Ballymoney, Pennyburn and Limavady, they also have a vehicle and grounds maintenance workshop in Ballymena. The Housing Executive wishes to obtain grass cutting machinery to assist the DLO in the delivery of its Grounds Maintenance provision and invites tenders for the supply and delivery of items detailed within the following Lots to DLO premises within Northern Ireland.
